Stuart Croft is an artist-filmmaker.
He writes and directs gallery-based films that focus on recurrence, deception, power and desire.

In 2011 Stuart Croft held solo exhibitions at Bloomberg Space, London; M HKA (Museum of Contemporary Art), Antwerp, and Kulturverein BB15, Linz. In 2012, Platform China, Beijing will present the first solo exhibition of his work outside Europe.
Since completing his MA at Chelsea College of Art in 1998, Croft has exhibited in galleries and museums worldwide, including PS1-MoMA, New York / Kunsthalle Luzern, Switzerland / FACT, Liverpool / Serpentine Gallery Pavilion, London / Royal Academy, London / Site Gallery, Sheffield / Art Gallery of New South Wales, Sydney / Chisenhale Gallery, London / Gasworks Gallery, London / Galerie Pristine, Monterrey / MCA, Malta / White Box, New York / Beijing 798 Biennale / REIS Projects, Antwerp / Fiedler Contemporary, Cologne.
Stuart Croft is based in London and is a lecturer at the Royal College of Art, where he programmes the RCA's Moving Image Studio.
