'Several Small Fires' is a series of very short sketch films. Each piece in the series is a fake commercial, made for products that do not exist. The sketches in 'Several Small Fires' were made in-between two of the filmmaker's larger productions. The title of the series alludes to a well-known book by artist Ed Ruscha, entitled 'Various Small Fires.'
